Richard Wittenoom is a senior Engineer with 60 years experience in construction and development including 55 years as Principal of his own Consulting Engineer Firm, Wittenoom Consulting Engineers (WCE).
Based in West Perth for 35 years, WCE operated both in Australia and the Asia Pacific Region, servicing a wide range of projects including major resource development, civil and subdivisional services, industrial, commercial and housing structures throughout Western Australia, and International Development Consultancy for major funding Agencies including Engineering for Cyclones in Sri Lanka, Dairy Industry Development in Burma, Village Water Supply in Thailand and Business Process Re-engineering in a Major Public Works and Highways Agency in the Philippines.
The firm relocated to Bridgetown in 2002 to provide a community based service allowing this wealth of experience to be brought to bear on the needs of industrial, commercial and residential projects in the heartland of the South West.
WCE focuses on servicing projects throughout the South West and Great Southern, focusing in the Shires of Bridgetown-Greenbushes, Manjimup, Boyup Brook and Kojonup.
Richard is a graduate of the University of Western Australia, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Australia, a Chartered Professional Engineer registered under the National Engineers Register in the categories of Civil, Structural and Subdivision Geotechnics, and a Level 2 Bushfire Planning and Design (BAL) Practitioner.
